Compare2Lists is designed around browser-first processing. For the compare-two-lists tool, the text you paste is processed locally in your browser so the site can stay fast and simple.

Tool input and local processing

If you paste text into a tool, that text is used to produce the result on the page. If you choose to import a local file, your browser reads that file so the tool can work with it. Compare2Lists does not provide an account system or a server-side database for tool input, and tools that say they process content locally do not upload pasted text or selected files for processing.

Analytics and tags

This site currently uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand general site use, such as page visits and device or browser information. These services may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's policies. We do not use the text or files entered into a tool as analytics content.
